The obligatory Christmas episode

Sam and Dean are tortured, but they have bro-bonding and think of Christmases in the past. It's very cute.
knife fights
What it says on the tin. Sam uses a knife for a lot of fights throughout the show, especially once he gets Ruby's blade (which he doesn't know about yet).
Hand to hand combat
When juiced up, Sam can pack a mean punch. He loses almost all of his fights in the show, though, because Dean needs to come to his rescue a lot or Sam needs to be tied up. BUT STILL, outside of plot necessity, Sam is supposed to be (toweringly) intimidating. He isn't really trained in specific martial arts, but he's not half bad.
pretty good at poker
Sam got this in a memory, but he's good enough at poker to save Dean and Bobby's lives. He has a good poker face.
